Dublin International Piano Festival sees global talents perform at stunning venues in the city at the end of the month

Dublin International Piano Festival is in its fifth year and this year’s programme is made up of top international performers.

The festival is running from July 22-30 and includes shows, masterclasses and seminars with multi-award-winning pianists, such as Boris Berezovsky, Frederic Chiu, Evelyne Brancart, Dr Gabriele Baldocci and Sony recording artist Francesco Tristano (pictured above). Dr. Orla McDonagh, Head of the Dublin Institute of Technology, Conservatory of Music & Drama will also feature in the line-up.

"From Francesco Tristano, who will thrill and excite the 20 to 30-year-olds, to the phenomenal Russian ‘Titan’ Berezovsky, there is something for everyone. We are so pleased that DIPF is seen as a launchpad for students, many of whom have gone on to great things since their first visit to Dublin." said Rhona Gouldson-Chen, Executive Director, DIPF.

President of Ireland Michael D. Higgins is patron of the showcase of the world’s finest pianists, which will take place at various venues across Dublin city including The National Concert Hall, Dublin City Gallery: The Hugh Lane and Rathmines’ Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) Conservatory of Music and Drama.
