Catch the last instalment of the RHA’s Hennessy Lost Fridays
Cutting edge acts from the Irish music scene including Columbia Mills, Come On Live Long and DJ Alex Donald will perform in the stunning surrounds of the RHA Gallery tomorrow night for the final Hennessy Lost Friday of 2017. 80s and 90s fans will love Columbia Mills, Come on Live Long will be playing melodic favourites from their latest album In The Still At and Alex Donald will be familiar to Whelan’s fans as she has been a resident DJ for four years. The music kicks off at 7.30pm but go early and check out the walking tours of Plunge by Vera Klute and Strange Attractors by Ronnie Hughes with RHA Director Patrick T Murphy. You can also make your own Great Gatsby-style 1920s feathered masks and headbands, or try sculpture too, all before enjoying Hennessy cocktails.

Brave the Morbid Manor at Tayto Park
Tayto Park has been transformed for Halloween, with its Morbid Manor open to the public from today. There will be creepy clowns and other spooky characters roaming the grounds, ride the Cú Chulainn coaster in the dark and watch a terrifying 5D horror movie before dashing through the haunted halls and secret passageways of the manor.

The Spiegeltent festival is in full swing in Wexford and this weekend sees Hothouse Flowers headline on Saturday night and Imelda May performs on Monday. Meanwhile Today FM presenter and comedian Al Porter takes the stage Friday night if you’re up for a laugh and Reginald D Hunter brings his hugely anticipated new show Some People Vs Reginald D Hunter on Saturday.

Over 100 events take place in 10 days each year at Imagine Arts Festival and this year’s line-up features live performances, exhibitions, and much more, with the Writers Weekend and the John Dwyer Trad all part of the programme of events. Battle of the Blaas is a new event this year running on Sunday, a post-apocalyptic war zone which will see kids battle kids and adults battle adults in an egg and flour fight. A spooky take on Alice in Wonderland is running at Garter Lane Theatre and Kila play at the Apple Market on Saturday.
