Brows have never been more important when it comes to beauty. Here Team Irish Country Magazine are sharing the brow products we swear by.
OUR PICKS FOR BLONDES
I love the Urban Decay Brow Box (€26.50). I’m very fair but very ashy so finding the perfect shade to fill in my brows can be tricky. I’ve tried a lot of products but find the two shades in the Bathwater Blonde Brow Box suit me really well. I use the paler shade for daytime and add a little of the darker side for a more dramatic evening look.
I've been using the L'Oreal Paris Brow Xpert (€9.29) since it came out. It is so quick and effortless and your brows look so defined instantly. I comb my brows, draw it on then comb it out again. I've also been trying the bareMinerals Brow Master Duo gel and brush set (€26) which is amazing.
bareMinerals Brow Powder (€17) is a fab product. Great coverage and easy to use. Stays on all day and night, great definition for your brows and avoids that drawn on look of a pencil. Rimmel Brow This Way (€5.49) is like a mascara, but for the brows! Great if you are in a rush, gets your brows into shape quickly. The colours come in soft shades so you can avoid that HD look if it’s not your thing. MAC Clear Brow Set Gel (€18) is great to set your brows into shape and make them stay put!
OUR PICKS FOR BRUNETTES
I prefer a natural looking brow so just have a tweezers in my makeup bag for maintenance. The only product I use (sporadically) is Benefit Gimme Brow (€26). It’s a tiny easy to use mascara-like wand, in medium brown, which fills in any gaps.
I used to swear by the L'Oreal Paris Brow Artist Genius Kit (€15.29), which is a two step product with a wax and a powder. I have gaps in my brows and have very dark hair, so I needed two steps to sort them out. But now I am obsessed with the new L'Oreal Paris Brow Xpert (€9.29). It is so quick and easy to use, brows look fuller and not drawn on. For a night out to look more polished I use some of the L'Oreal Paris Brow Artist Plumper (€8.49) on top.
